We all have songs that will make us cry... a lot of the time we don't know why. Maybe they remind of someone or something that happened in our life, but the one thing they all have in common is they make us smile or make us ball our eyes out. It's amazing the emotion and power that people can put into lyrics... but a lot of the time it's not just the lyrics, its the mood of the song, the melody, the music. A big question is "what is your favorite song?" Most people answer with a song that has a nice melody and nice music, things that they like make up the song that they like. But then there are those people who judge a song by what it means to them. Personally if i sit down and listen to a song and say "Oh, this is nice." that means i like it. But if i sit and i listen to something and something hits me... I know i really do love that song. Things that have happened in my life between me and my friends, or my family, or me... that's what i put in my music and that's what i look for in others. Merry Late Christmas!!!!! So how did everyone's holiday go! I'm on break until the 3rd i think so i should be posting more!!! I really want to get back to school though. I'm bored out of my mind! I really want to give my friend her Christmas present, i think shes gonna love it. I've talked to most of my friends a lot, but no one can seem to hang out... Everyone is sick. There is a Respiratory Virus going around my school and town, so a lot of people have been sick for the holiday break. It stinks.

I hope you guys like my new background. I love Ariana Grande, she is my idol. I'm gonna try to change everything for the seasons and holidays. I'm gonna try to keep up but school is only getting harder as the year progresses. I so far have it under control. Hahaha. Well i hope you guys have an amazing day....

All the adults in my school are wearing green ribbons, my classmates and friends are wearing green... its amazing how this country can come together in a time of need. People all around the country are putting up posters saying Pray For Newtown, going to ceremonies, supporting all of the familys. It was a horrible thing, but it brought us all together. Now go up to a love one and give them a hug, tell a friend that you love them... pray for Newtown.

9 and 1/2 day until we die. This is a bunch of.... never-mind  But seriously come on, is the world really gonna end because of an alignment of planets.... people are freaking out because of this. I'm just sitting back laughing. Well anyway so Christmas is around the corner. I asked my mom to buy me this stuffed purple giraffe and she said no.... she says I'm to old. Your never too old for Disney, but your too old for a stuffed animal, come on.

I cant stop listening to Christmas music. I just got some lights and I'm gonna put them up in my room. Ahhhhhh, I cant wait. So what are you guys doing for the holidays. Every year my family has a giant spaghetti dinner for Christmas and we do something called Naughty Santa. Naughty Santa is a game where someone brings warped boxed of something or presents (we do boxes of candy) and each person gets to pick a box. You can either pick a box or take someone else's. Its really fun because afterwards we pig out on candy and trade because these boxes are HUGE!! Then we do presents. At the end of the kids all sleep over and the next morning we have a huge brunch. It's amazing. It's the best family tradition... So what kind of traditions do you have?

Christmas in New York City is probably one of the most amazing sights. You go and see the Macy's window... and the tree at Rockefeller Center. You can go to FAO Schwarz, which is a giant candy and toy store with huge stuffed animals and a giant floor piano like in the movie "BIG"!!!! It's amazing.

Sorry it's been so long. With Sandy hitting and school just reopening its been really busy. But I'm back now. I'm helping a friend in a twitter contest so I have been on twitter all day and most of last night. It's crazy. So here are some pictures. They are many different things but mostly things I like.

As most of you know I love NYC. But  I think my favorite part is time square. Its full bright lights and Broadway shows.

My favorite cookies are oreos. I love licking the white creme off of the cookie. I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love music. I love listening to it, singing as loud as I can when I blast music so nobody can hear me. I also Love to play piano. I have played for 7 years.

I love to read. My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks and John Knowles. I also love writing stories.

I love the Marines. I don't know why but i have always respected them a lot. I love all of the Armed Forces too.

Well Tuesday is Halloween, supposed to get hit hard band were supposed to be hit hard by hurricane Sandy. This is gonna be a fun week. We have no school on monday! Thats one ok thing.

Well my field hockey teams last game of the season was on Thursday and we won 10 - 0.
Just kidding. We get to the school where we were supposed to play to find out the refs couldn't make it. So we had an hour trip on the bus full of pictures and memories. We get to the school people hand in their goggles and borrowed sticks. We give hugs and say goodbye. It was a very emotional day. I'm going to miss playing but next year we start again. That team was the best I have ever been on.

Now, preperation for a hurricane. Should keep me busy for a while.

I have been so bored lately. I'm either staring at a wall or at my computer screen. I've blasted every Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, and Pink song I know. I think I've been on facebook more in a week than I have in 2 years. I hate when this happens.

I don't really have anything to talk about so how about the highlights of my past field hockey game. This may bore some of you. So yesterday I had a field hockey game, we won 7-1. For those of you who don't know, I am the B-team goalie. Yesterday was only an A-team game but my coach put me in for half the game. Yes,  I let the one by but I have a good reason. One of the opposing girls drives (shoots) the ball and I go to clear it. The goalie clears it by kicking it. Another girl comes in and hits me in the leg with her stick, in the one spot I don't have padding. She hits it over to a girl on the opposite side of the cage and then trips me. I stick my hand out to stop the ball, but of course this team hates me. One of the girls comes in and whacks me with her stick 4 times in the arm. Then it goes in. The ref didn't call it as a foul. I don't know why. But it was fun. Not the getting hit part but the game itself. Our team did amazing!

Well it's official they are back. Or should we not believe what the internet says. People are always saying don't believe everything you see on the internet but I have to believe this.

Did you hear? Steve is leaving GH. Well the good thing is that he will still be acting. I love his eyes.

Sorry about not writing a lot but I'm loaded. I've got homework and Field Hockey and everything else. This is driving me insane. The field hockey season is almost over so I should have more time in November. Oh and happy 35 degree weather.

My new favorite TV show, Hollywood Heights. I guess I can't say it's my favorite because it changes a lot. I love show like this. They have singing and drama. There aren't many TV shows like that. There is GLEE and Hollywood Heights. That's it.

So I tried out for the soccer team but I didn't make it. I hurt my leg the first day of try outs and i couldn't go the next 2 because I couldn't walk. I was pretty upset but... The the next day the field hockey coach comes up to me and asks me to play. So I made goalie. I have to wear about 7,000 lbs of padding and a helmet. I sweat like a pig and get hit with balls the size of my fist. I don't understand why I like it but it's an amazing sport. I love it. I'm loaded with homework and sports take up a lot of time. so I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. Check out those songs and I guarantee you will at least like them.

This has to be one of the best books I have ever read. I had to read this for school and at first I didn't want to. It looked stupid. Like everyone else I didn't want to because it was supposed to be violent. When you read the back of this book it tells you: At fifteen Cole Matthews  has been fighting and stealing for years. The punishment for smashing Peter Driscal's skull into a sidewalk -- his most recent crime -- is harsh. This time Cole will have to choose between prison and Native American Circle Justice. He will either live behind bars or in isolation for one year. Cole chooses Circle Justice. But in the first few days of his banishment to a remote Alaskan island, he is mauled by a mysterious white bear and nearly dies. Will the attack of the spirit bear destroy Cole's life or save his soul.

Yes, the mauling is a little bit intense but the rest of the violence isn't that bad. This story can teach a person so much in 240 pages. It teaches so many lessons, forgiveness, the real meaning of being sorry, trust, friendship, so many other things that you can't describe. You just know what they are. This book has so much to give to people. It shows you how much you miss in life doing stupid things. What you can miss if you don't stop and smell the roses.

When you read this you feel like your Cole Matthews. The author described everything so well. Ben Mikaelsen, I think is a genius. Knowing so much about how people feel and what can change their feelings. It's more that a psychologist could know. It's amazing.

I guess the point I'm  trying to make is everyone should read this book. It's not something you should miss.

I've seen all of the Step Ups. I love all of the dancing movies. The moves are amazing. They have so much talent. The first 3 movies are about competitions around the US. The train to win. The plot is always amazing but this latest one, Step Up Revolution is different. If you watch the trailer, you will see that now its not about dancing to win or for fun. It's about making a statement, telling people, "Hey, listen up. We exist." It's about fighting for what you truly want. Not in a violent way, but by a way people can understand, by dancing. It's amazing.

This movie is for everyone. It teaches a life lesson but it's fun. It's difficult to not get up and dance or start cheering. Even if you hate dance movies, there is a little bit of everything in this. I highly suggest you go and see it.

The old drive in movies and late night diners. They were lit up with neon signs. Or the old movie theaters that played 2 movies a week. With the red velvet and gold curtains and people walking around with candy. The time when everyone walked everywhere and the only phones where house phones. The TV was black and white and the radios where constant static. The time when technology didn't exist. Life was better back then. Most of the time it was safer. Your kids could run around outside with no worries. You knew everyone in town. If only we could go back to those days. When the economy wasn't so bad, when the world was safer, when you could spend a comfortable day watching a movie and it was only 25 cents. When you could go out with your husband or wife for a nice dinner and not get a business call. The sights, the people, it was so much better. You could lay on the grass and watch the sun go down.

The movie "The Majestic" show how great life was in a small town but also shows you what is happening to the world now. It shows you how much life has changed. It went from small towns, where everyone knew each other and the mayor ran the town. To the government taking over the USA, to the economy getting worse, to people not even wanting to get to know each other. I would love to go back to the 1950's, everything but the cold war was great.

So I started to re-watch LOST. I've been catching a lot of things that confused and threw me off the first time. Some people say that the shows ending didn't make sense and that they didn't understand it. If you re-watch the 3rd episode it explains the whole premise. Anyway, This show is amazing and very suspenseful. I think everyone should watch it if they haven't already.

Ok, so I do these these things. I call them storyboards. I take quotes and pictures from books, movies and lyrics from songs. Here is one that I did for the 4th of July. Happy 4th!

Hey sorry it's been so long. I found this website called picmonkey.com. It's a website were you take pictures off of your computer or off the internet and you fix them. You can put make up on the person, change the color of the picture to black and white or many other colors. It's really cool. You should check it out.
So far this summer has been really HOT! It got to 103 degrees the other day near me. The ocean had some riptides and some undertows but that all cleared up. The water is beautiful and refreshing. How is your summer?

So, school ended on the 14. Now I will have more time to blog.
There are so many great things about summer, but there are a lot of bad things, too. The great things are you have time to relax, you can go to the beach, watch TV. But some of the bad things are you don't see your friends until next year and of course the worst is there  are a lot more mosquitoes.

When school ends there are a lot of things you wish you did. Said one final goodbye to your teachers, gotten a friends phone number. So many things you need to remember for next year, but by the time school ends that year you forget. I hate that.

So now that it's summer, list some things you did, are going to do, and what you wish you did. I told my crush I liked him, I'm going to go to the beach and have fun, and I wish that i did more to get involved with my friends. i sat at home most of the year doing nothing or reading and watching TV. I wish I spent more time with my friends, because you start out with a lot but only a handful stay with you forever.

An Amazing TV show. It taught me a lot. I can't wait for season 4!!!!!

Hey guys, summers coming up. Getting ready for the beach and its beautiful out. How much better can it get. Well I haven't watched the whole thing but there's a movie I really think everyone should see. It's called Soul Surfer. It's and amazing movie so far, very inspiring and sad. It is based off of a real story. On October 31, 2003, 13 year old, Bethany Hamilton was attacked by a shark surfing. Almost all of her arm was amputated yet she tried to get back on board. After trying and failing, she eventually succeeded and finished 5th in a competition in 2004. Then an autobiography was made about her amazing and inspiring tale of her faith, family and her fight, hence the book title, Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board. The movie was made 7 years later about her struggle of being different and excepting that her life will never be the same. But she got back up and did what she loved. Seven years later her amazing tale is still remembered.

Books & Movies

Ok, I just finished The Hunger Games Trilogy. It's the best books I have every read. I can't say more than that. They are amazing. I would definitely suggest this to everyone. Not only is the writing good but the plot is so original. usually the first book is better than the rest. This is different. Suzanne Collins wrote a better 2nd book and then a 3rd that improved on all of them. My favorite had to be the first, The Hunger Games. Catching Fire and Mockingjay were amazing too. They are so suspenseful, you cant even put down the book. It's great.

Now, movies. Well you have to watch The Hunger Games. Definitely. Also a movie called "A Warriors Heart". Most people don't like the sports dramas but there my favorite. "A Warriors Heart" is about a teenager, named Collin, who moves from California to the East Coast. Collin love lacrosse. His dad is in the Marines. After his dad goes back to the war, he dies. Collin is very upset about this and gets some of his anger out on the field. He gets too violent and goes to jail. A fellow Marine, his dad knew, bails him out and brings him to a work camp to teach him a lesson. There Collin learns the true definition of a warrior and what lacrosse is really about.
It has it's romance like most stories, and the action. It's sad and powerful. Importantly, it has an amazing life lesson.

Soccer

So about 5 months ago I hurt my back in soccer. I strained most of the muscles and my spine wasn't alined. After about 3 months of pain I finally told my parents to bring me to the doctor. Then the chiropractor, then to get x-rays, then the orthopedist, finally the told me I have to rest from soccer.  They said I could play field and not goalie, but my coach wouldn't let me. I wasn't coming back the next season,(in September) because I was going to play for my school team. I wasn't coming back and I wasn't playing for the rest of the season so I quit. Soccer was my life. I was in some pain when I played but the game kept that off of my mind. I have nothing to do anymore and I'm constantly in pain. I think that playing would be better for me then sitting around. Quitting was defiantly a mistake. But the good news is I get to play in September on my school team. Until then if you have any suggestions please comment. And I promise to post more because the school year is almost over and no homework this week.

So, Suzanne Collins wrote "The Hunger Games Trilogy" and the first was made into a movie. Now they have Katniss, Peeta and Gale dolls and pins and everything including this and cakes.

GLEE

I have found my new favorite TV show. GLEE!!! It might sound stupid but I really like it. Not really because of the plot line but because of the music. They have the combination of the new pop music and then there's the oldies or the stuff most people don't know. It's great. I grew up listening to the 80's and the 50's music. I know so much more than other people my age. Then I also grew up on KISS and Aerosmith. Now I love Country. I've heard a wide spread of music and play the piano. I appreciate it so much. GLEE give me more of it.

I'll sit for hours staring at the ceiling listening to music. It comforts me. I can't tell you how much I love. I've been going through a really rough time. I hurt myself in soccer, I had to quit, I'm having some problems with friends and it's been tough. Anytime I feel angry or sad I start to sing something or I play something on the piano and I feel better. Let me know what comforts you. Tell me how music helps you or how it makes you feel.

By now, I hope you know my favorite thing to do is play or listen to music. My favorite songs change every time I hear a new song. But I thing I've found my favorite. A song called "Fly Over States".
It's by Jason Aldean. It has a very good meaning.
He's explaining how people who live in the city don't think of anything other than city life. He says that if they were on a plane over Oklahoma all they would say is "who would want to live there." He says that the have to see the country, experience what others do to understand. I think it is an amazing song. A great meaning.

Dreams

So a couple nights ago I had a dream. I've had this dream before about 2 or 3 times, always the same place and about the plot. So it starts with me walking down a dirt road in the middle of a wheat field. I here a rustle in the field and quickly turn around.  I look and there is nothing there. The sound comes from behind again. What ever it was it was circling me. All of the sudden I hear something swoop down. It picks me up by the shirt and lifts me 50 feet in the air. It keeps getting higher and higher. I glance up and a giant golden eagle is carrying me. (Now when I say giant I mean at least 35 feet long and 8 feet tall.) It finally asks "what where you doing down there. It's dangerous down there." I answered that I was taking a walk in the woods and got lost. I ended up in this wheat field. It doesn't answer. It flies me over a river and slowly flies down and drops me on the ground. It says "If you stay between the rivers you will be fine. Don't cross the rivers."

I walk about a mile and come to the next river. I see my two best friends. They are telling me to come with them. They are going to cross the river. I remember what the golden eagle said and because he scared me I didn't listen. I crossed the river with my friends. When we got to the other side this lion/wolf pops out at us and we hear a rustle. There where more. We where surrounded. The 3 golden eagles swoop down and save me and my friends. By this point I trust the eagle. He takes us home and on the way explains what the lion/wolf is. He wanted something from us. It was a rock my friend had in her pocket.

They bring my friends home and then me. I walk in to my house and walk to my room. I lie down and go to bed. When I get up in the morning I walk outside. It’s a beautiful spring day. I get the mail and on my way back up the driveway I turn around and see the golden eagle sitting on the top of a tree.

It looks directly at me and nods. It was like he was giving me permission to go back inside and live my life.

That was a really cool dream. And I keep having it. I wonder what it means.

I went to a Chinese buffet yesterday and my little sister got this fortune cookie.
